Shinji Enoki
Shinji Enoki is a member of the LibreOffice Japanese Team and a member of the Membership Committee. He focuses on organizing events and supporting community activities. He occasionally responds to questions on Ask and contributes translations, while quality assurance efforts are done even less frequently.
He is also active in other communities, serving as a staff member of the Wikimedians of Japan User Group, an organizing member of the Nextcloud Japan community, and a volunteer staff member for the Japan UNIX Society and KANSAI OPEN SOURCE, among others.
He is a freelancer and is developing a LibreOffice support business in Japan.

LibreOffice includes various CJK features, and it is important that CJK users actively report and fix any issues that arise.
This talk will first introduce the historical background and role of "Gaiji" (user-defined characters) specific to the Japanese language. It will also cover government efforts on font development and management, along with future prospects.
Next, I will introduce representative bugs that have been fixed during the past year, as well as major bugs that remain unresolved. Concrete examples will be provided.
Finally, the talk will briefly introduce the current state and challenges of the Japanese community. It will also provide an overview of the Asia Conference to be held this December.
Localization (L10N) plays a crucial role in making LibreOffice accessible to users worldwide. This roundtable builds on experiences from previous LibreOffice community discussions, such as the localization strategy roundtable held at the 2017 LibreOffice Conference in Rome.
It provides a forum for LibreOffice localization contributors to engage in open discussion, sharing knowledge, best practices, and challenges.
Participants will discuss topics such as translation quality, collaboration strategies, and community growth. The goal is to foster stronger connections and mutual learning within the LibreOffice localization community.
