DESCRIPTION:From the public administration for the public administration: O
penCoDE\, hosted by the Centre for Digital Sovereignty (ZenDiS)\, is Germa
ny's nationwide platform where federal\, state\, and local government agen
cies can discover\, build\, and share open-source software. The ultimate g
oal of OpenCoDE is to establish an infrastructure that encourages the adop
tion of sustainable open source solutions within the public sector. A cruc
ial aspect of achieving this goal is implementing a secure software develo
pment life cycle (SDLC)\, and Open CoDE offers an ideal environment for de
veloping secure applications. One such application is openDesk\, ZenDiS’
integrated suite designed for collaborative office tasks within the publi
c sector. It incorporates proven open-source tools and makes its source co
de publicly available via OpenCoDE\, demonstrating how Open CoDE supports
the development of secure and dependable applications.
