Then showing how TDF's ODF Toolkit is useful for ODF tasks like automatic translation.
Svante, OASIS ODF TC - co-chair/co-editor - will briefly give an introduction to ODF and provide an update. In addition, he will explain how the TDF hosted ODF Toolkit - co-maintained by Svante - is facilitating daily ODF usage (like for automated document translation).
Svante started in 1999 working on StarOffice in Hamburg for Sun Microsystem.
Focusing on the ODF Standard and their browser office backends, which is now TDF's ODF Toolkit.
In addition, he created the (X)HTML export for ODF via XSLT being part of LibreOffice.
Now he is a freelancer in Berlin working as co-chair and co-editor in the OASIS ODF TC and co-maintaining with Michael Stahl the ODF Toolkit.
His other hobby is being a co-editor at the CEN e-invoice norm EN16931.
