In 2021, we have started to move from focusing on the product to focusing on the technology, which is the expression of the community. After two years, it is now time to further accelerate the move, which will be underlined by the future change of numbering releases.

In the past, we have never communicated about security, because of the risks associated with this topic (as it is basically impossible to have a software 100% secure). The Cyber Resilience Act has clearly told us that we must change this approach.
